HTC is long rumored to be working on a flagship device, the successor to the metal-clad HTC One M8. We’ve seen a number of leaks in the past few weeks, and the company has already sent out press invites for its event on March 1st in Barcelona.
The handset has posed for the camera, and we’ve heard it will boast a 20MP camera on the back to replace the UltraPixel combo on its predecessor. Now, Upleaks revealed there’s going to be a developers edition of the alleged HTC One M9, but there’s a catch here: it will be exclusive to the US.
While it’s not surprising, we’ve seen the Taiwanese company introduce such editions for its devices, but it’s still a good news for those who are in the US. Obviously, HTC hasn’t confirmed anything, but judging from the leaks, we may be looking a handset which looks quite similar to the current flagship, the HTC One M8.
Rumors suggest the alleged device will features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM, a 20MP rear shooter for photos and videos, 13MP front-facing camera and may ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop with a newer version of Sense UI.
Let’s just take this with a grain of salt. We’ll update you if we hear anything more.
