The new HTC One M9 was announced the other day and now we have all of the specifications on HTC’s flagship Android handset.
Processing on the new HTC One M9 comes in the form of an octa core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor that features four cores clocked at 2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5GHz and it will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The handset also features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage and there is also a microSD card slot for expansion which takes up to a 128GB card. The device comes with a 5 inch display that has a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The HTC One M9 is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, on the front is a 4 megapixel Ultrapixel camera for video chat and selfies and on the back there is a 20 megapixel camera. The rear camera on the handset comes with a BSI sensor, auto focus, an f/2.2, 27.8mm lens and the ability to record video in 4K.
Connectivity on the new HTC One M9 comes in the form of 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band WiFi, DLNA, HDMI, NFC and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset is equipped with a 2840 mAh battery that will give you up to 25.4 hours of usage ion 2G, 21.7 hours on 3G and a standby time of up to 391 hours.
The One M9 measure 144.6mm by 69.7mm by 9.61mm and it weighs in at 157g. The design of the handset is similar to that of the HTC One M8, it comes with a dual tone metal unibody design. The new One M9 will go on sale in the US and Europe later this month, as yet there are no details on pricing.
