Yesterday we saw a photo of the new HTC Edge, which is HTC’s first quad core Tegra 3 Android smartphone, we also heard some specifications and now we have some more details on this new quad core Android device.
According to a recent report by the BGR, the HTC Edge will come with a 4.7 inch HD S-LCD 2 display with optical lamination and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and it will also be a super slim device measuring just 8.8mm thick and it will come with 32GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot and 1GB of RAM.
Processing will be provided by a quad core 1.5GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, and it is reported to feature an 8 megapixel camera with backside illumination and the ability to record full HD video in 1080p, on top of that there will be a front facing HD camera which will be capable of capturing video in 720p
There will also be support for NFC, and it will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio and a 1,800 mAh battery.
