If you’re based in Singapore and rocking the HTC Desire 601, there’s a great news for you. HTC Singapore announced via Facebook that Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 5.5 is rolling out for the handset in the region.
This should come as a good news for all those with the mid-range HTC Desire 601. The update should improve the performance of your HTC Desire 601, and brings all the enhancements found inside the Sense 5.5.
The company didn’t provide any change log, but it should come with all the goodies found inside the Android 4.4 KitKat update, such as restyled navigation and status bar icons, improved SMS capabilities, as well as HTC’s Sense 5.5 UI . The latest Sense 5.5 UI introduces Blinkfeed and Video highlights improvements, as well new Zoe and several other enhancements.
The update is rolling out for the HTC Desire 601 as we speak in Singapore. Do note it might take a little while for the update to reach your device. Alternatively, you can check for the update manually by heading to Settings > About > Software Updates.
