HP officially announced their new webOS tablet, the HP TouchPad last month, and now HP’s CEO Leo Apotheker has announced that the HP TouchPad will be available in June of 2011.
He also mentioned something more about webOS on HP PCs, which we know is coming next year, but now it looks like there will be a beta of webOS running on Windows out by the end of this year.
As a reminder on the HP webOS TouchPad tablet, it features a 9.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, there is also a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 512MB of RAM
The HP TouchPad will come with webOS 3.0, and it has a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for video chat, plus 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth and there will be two different models, a WiFi only model and a WiFi and 3G model.
