
HP has this week added a new addition to their range of gaming laptops, in the form of the newly launched HP Omen laptop, which is now available to purchase with from $1,499.
The HP Omen gaming laptop sports a slim design and is fitted with a 15.6 inch IPS FHD touchscreen display, offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and making the complete laptop measure just 19.9mm in thickness.
The HP Omen is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ Quad Core Processor (2.5GHz, turbo up to 3.5GHz) with 6MB Cache and Hyper Threading processor supported by up to 16GB DDR3 RAM and graphics supported by a 2GB NVIDIA GTX 860M graphics card.
Together with BeatsAudio, Dual Front Facing Speakers 4 x USB 3.0 Ports, 1 x mini Display Port v1.2, HDMI v1.4b and customisable RGB backlit keyboard with key strokes designed specifically for gaming. Other features include a 128GB solid state disk (SSD) on the base model with options to add larger storage up to 512GB if your budget will allow. HP explains :
