We recently heard that the new Nexus devices would launch under the Pixel brand and would be called the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL.
Both handsets were expected to come with Android 7.0 Nougat, although according to LlabToofer, the two new handsets will come with a new version of Android in the form of Android 7.1 Nougat.

As yet there are no details on what new features Android 7.1 will come with over Android 7.0. We are also waiting to hear some more specifications on these two new Android smartphones from Google.
What we do know so far is that the Pixel will come with a 5 inch display and the Pixel XL will come with a 5.5 inch display.
Google are rumored to be making the two handsets official on the 4th of October along with a new Daydream VR device and a 4K Google Chromecast.
