As yet there are no details on what new features Android 7.1 will come with over Android 7.0. However, it is expected that Android 7.1 will include bug fixes, performance improvements, and possibly some new features that were not ready in time for the initial Nougat release. Speculation suggests that we might see enhancements in battery life, user interface tweaks, and possibly new functionalities related to Google’s Assistant and other AI-driven features.
We are also waiting to hear some more specifications on these two new Android smartphones from Google. The Pixel and Pixel XL are expected to be high-end devices, featuring the latest hardware and software innovations from Google.
