Google Pixel 2 XL Touchscreen Issues To Be Fixed In Future Update

Google Pixel 2 XL

There have been a number of issues with the new Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL smartphones, these have included issues with ghosting on the display and also sound problems. Now users are reporting an issue with the display being unresponsive on the handset.

Some users have had issues with the edge of the display on the Google Pixel 2 XL, this can be seen in the video below where the handset is unresponsive when touched near the edge. Google has been looking into the reports of the unresponsive display.

Now Google have confirmed that they are working on a fix for the display issues on the handset and that a fix will be released as a software update, you can see an official statement from Google below.

Thanks for all the reports here, and to those that sent up additional info. The team has been investigating, and this will be addressed in a future OTA update.

As we can see Google will be releasing an over the air update to address the problem, the company has not revealed as yet when the update will be released.
