We have been hearing a number of rumors about the new Google Pixel 2 smartphone, the latest one is that the handset will come with a curved OLED display.
According to a recent report LG are making a curved OLED display for the new Google Pixel 2, Apple’s new iPhone 8 is also rumored to come with a similar display.
LG will be making this new display for the Google Pixel 2 and Samsung are expected to make the displays for Apple’s new iPhone 8. Google is said to be making a large investment in LG Display to help the company manufacture flexible displays.
We also heard previously that the Google Pixel 2 may do away with the headphone jack, this is something that Apple did with the release of their iPhone 8.
The Pixel 2 will come with the next major release of Google’s mobile OS which is Android O that will launch later this year.
As soon as we get some more details about the new Pixel 2, including a full list of specifications for the handset and some pictures of the device, we will let you guys know.
