Earlier this year during Google’s I/O developer conference the company announced that its Google Photos application would be splitting from Google+.
It has been revealed this week that Google is preparing to roll out a large update to its Google Photos application that will provide support for Google’ Chromecast streaming feature.
The new features that are apparently rolling out in the next update will also provide the ability to add custom labels to your pictures, as well as share albums with others. Although exact details on how the Google Photos sharing feature will work are still unknown at the current time.
More details on this and others are expected to be announced later today when Google unveils its latest hardware, a new Google Play Family plan and more, during its Nexus event taking place today. As always we will keep you updated on any details that are announced.
