We previously heard that Google would be holding their Nexus press event on the 29th of September, the company has now send out invites to the event.
We are expecting to see a number of new devices at the event, which will include the Google Nexus 5, Google Nexus 6 and the new Google Chromecast.
Google has not provided any information on what they plan to announce at the event, but we can expect to see the above three device and also find out more details about the release date of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Google Nexus 5 is made by LG and the handset will come with a 5.2 inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, processing will come in the form of a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor and it will feature 3GB of RAM.
The Nexus 5 will also come with a choice of 32GB and 64GB of storage, plus a 5 megapixel front camera for Selfies and a 12.4 megapixel rear camera. The handset have a fingerprint sensor, a 2700 mAh battery and USB Type-C.
The Google Nexus 6 is made by Huawei and the device will come with an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM, it will also feature a 5.5 inch or 5.7 inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other specifications on the Nexus 6 will include a 5 megapixel front facing camera, as yet there are no details on the rear camera, the device will also have a fingerprint sensor.
We will also get to see the new Google Chromecast which will get a new circular design and will come with a range of new features.
The two new Nexus smartphones will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and we should get some details about the release date of Android Marshmallow at the event.
