Last week Google announced the follow up to the Nexus One, the Google Nexus S which is the first smartphone to come with the latest version of thir Android OS, Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Good news if you have been waiting to get your hands on one, as you can now pre-order it from the Carphone Warehouse here in the UK, and it is available on both monthly contract and also pay as you go.
The Nexus S is available with all the major mobile networks in the UK including, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange, pricing starts at £35 per month or you can purchase the Nexus S for £549.95 without being tied into a contract.
The Google Nexus S comes with the latest version of Android, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and it features 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, there is also a 1GHZ cortex A8 hummingbird processor a five megapixel camera and a front facing VGA camera.
Other specifications on the Nexus S include Near Field Communication, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, integrated 802.11 b/g/n/ WiFi, A-GPS, a microUSB port and a 1500 mAh battery.
