After Google unveiled the hardware specifications for their new Google Glasses eyewear yesterday, revealing that it will be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and 16GB of on board storage.
New video have been published today revealing the new Google Glasses being unboxed and put through their paces by Google Glasses Explorers.
Google is shipping their Google Glasses with a microUSB cable and charger, a pouch and an attachable shade and clear lens, and stays that the microUSB cable and charger has been specifically designed to charge their Google Glasses eyewear:
“While there are thousands of Micro USB chargers out there, Glass is designed and tested with the included charger in mind. Use it and preserve long and prosperous Glass use.”
Google Glasses are compatible with Any Bluetooth-capable phone, and the MyGlass companion app that enables GPS and SMS messaging requires Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher to function, and is now available to download from the Google Play Store for free.
“MyGlass allows you to configure and manage your Google Glasses device. : If you don’t have Glass, then downloading this will be a waste of time. Sorry about that. But if you swipe the screenshots to the right you’ll see there’s a picture of a puppy in pajamas. So not a total waste of time after all.”
