Tomorrow Google is making its new Chromecast media streaming dongle available to purchase in Japan for 4,200 yen excluding tax.
The Google Chromecast is a compact HDMI adapter that offers a range of media streaming features for your HDTV and allows you to view content from your tablet, smartphone or computer directly on your HDTV screen with ease.
The Google Chromecast HDMI dongle uses your home or office network to stream apps and media from your devices and also supports YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, together with a huge range of Google Play content.
Chromecast supports Android, iOS, Chrome for Mac, and Chrome for Windows platforms and plugs into any HDTV equipped with a HDMI port. Google explains :
