Google’s I/O developer conference starts in the US tomorrow, and we are expecting Google to announce a number of things, one of those will be the next version of Android, which is reported to be Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The major announcement that everyone is waiting to hear about is Google’s first Android tablet, a device which we have already seen a leaked photo and some specifications of, the Google Asus Nexus 7.
Google are expected to follow the same pattern with the Asus Nexus 7, as they did with their Nexus smartphones and it is expected to be the first Android tablet to run the stock version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
What we know so far is that the Asus Nexus 7 will feature a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Nexus 7 is rumored to be powered by a quad core NVIDIA tegra 3 processor and also feature a 12 core GeForce GPU.
We are expecting Google to unveil two versions, one with 8GB of storage, that is rumored to retail for $199 and one with 16GB of built in storage that is rumored to retail for $249, we should have full details tomorrow.
