Hardware manufacturer Gigabyte has this week unveiled a new addition to their range of solid state drives announcing the upcoming availability of their new Gigabyte UD PRO Series SSDs. The new hardware will be equipped with 3D NAND Flash memory, high-speed, low power DDR3L buffer cache to accelerate the read write speeds of the SSD offering sequential read speeds of up to 530 MB/s an sequential write speeds of up to 500 MB/s.
The new range will be available in 256 GB and 512 GB capacities, Jackson Hsu, Deputy Director of the GIGABYTE Channel Solutions Product Development Division explains : “SATA interface SSDs are mainstream and have a considerable development history.
