France’s Free ISP has just unveiled their latest set-top box the Freebox v6 Revolution that other providers can only dream of providing its customers. The Freebox v6 Revolution designed by Philippe Starck, has been created to handle all your home entertainment needs.
Its equipped with a 250GB of hard drive space, an internal 802.11n WiFi module, Blu-ray drive, inbuilt web browser and Intel’s Atom CE4100 media processor.
Not only that is also comes with a motion-sensing remote and has been created to provide users with a live / streaming television service, Internet via fiber optic or DSL if required, online gaming similar to that offered by OnLive and at-home calling.
The Freebox v6 Revolution is now available for pre-order and could cost as little as €59.99 or as much as €119.99 depending on how long your have had your existing box to upgrade.
The Basic Freebox service costs €29.99 but you will also be able to add an additional mobile line for €29 Free goes mobile in 2012.
