Chef Franco Di Nicola has created a new folding chef’s knife which incorporates a modular design takes the form of the Reverso Knife 2.0, building on previous designs to provide a safer knife for chefs. The modular design has been specifically created for professional chefs and improves both functionality and safety say its creator. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the folding mechanism, construction and features of the Reverso Knife 2.0 folding chefs knife.
The Reverso Knife is “many knives in one” thanks to a modular design that allows blades to be switched and gadgets to be attached. The collapsible design also allows each component to be washed thoroughly achieving a higher level of hygiene. “The steel used for the blade is called “Reverso Steel”, and it’s created just for us; you can find in it all the experience of “Mercury” a historical Italian knife brand. This steel, which is about to receive the official label of QM ( Maniago Quality), is a new type of performing steel, 100% pure Inox and enriched with vanadium. It has a hardness of 58-60 HRC and extraordinary alloy qualities.”
Unique folding chef’s knife is now available via Kickstarter with limited numbers available priced at €220 or £188. Worldwide delivery is expected to start sometime around July 2019.
