We recently heard that Fitbit was getting ready to launch a new fitness watch, the Fitbit Surge, and now the device has turned up online again, this time with retail Brookstone.
The Fitbit Surge is listed on Brookstone as available to pre-order, the device will come in two sizes, small and larger and will retail for $249.95.
The Fitbit Surge is designed to be a fitness watch rather than a smartwatch, and it comes with GPS and a number of other features, you can see a list of features for the device below.

Automatic, continuous heart rate monitoring gives you more accurate fitness stats

The device will also come with some smartwatch features like caller ID and also text notifications from your smartphone, and it will also feature some sleep monitoring functions and more.
