Fairphone has announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Fairphone 3 and the handset has had a number of upgrades over the Fairphone 2.
The new Fairphone 3 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 mobile processor and the handset is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of included storage, it also comes with a microSD card slot.
The device comes with a 5.65 inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution, the device comes with a 3000 mAh battery and it features Quick Charge 3.0.
The handset is equipped with an 8 megapixel front facing camera with an F/2.0 lens, on the rear of the handset there is a 12 megapixel camera.
The device is designed to be easy to repair like the previous handsets, it also does not come bundled with any accessories, not even a USB cable.
The idea behind the Fairphone is that it uses as many recycled materials as possible and everyone who has anything to do with its production is treated fairly, the video below gives is some more details about the handset.
