Facebook released their official application for Windows 8.1 OS last month along with the launch of the latest Windows 8.1 operating system, and now it has been updated with some new features and bug fixes. A few notable ones include the ability to download photos and set them as lockscreen and Windows profile picture, as well as send them in messages. The application also comes with charm support that allows users to share stuff from other Windows apps to Facebook.
The application also allow users to post images directly in the comments, supports picture messages allowing users to share photos in chat and ability to share the status of your wall or from friend’s timeline from within the app. In addition, you can also share your location in messages and enable/disable them with a simple toggle option.
In the end, the application also allow users to resize the application to up to 320 pixels wide to use two or more apps side-by-side.
