It wasn’t long ago that Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg donated $100 million to Newark Schools, and now it seems that Zuckerberg has an even larger donation planned as the WSJ are reporting that he will be donating the majority of his wealth to charity.
Zuckerberg is joining the likes of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Lucas and 50 other billionaires who are donating their large fortunes as part of the Giving Pledge movement which was launched by Bill Gates back in August.
There are no details as yet on which charities will receive the money from the Giving Pledge movement, and including Zuckerberg a total of 16 billionaires including AOL co-founder Steve Case and investor Carl Icahn have also agreed to donate their fortunes to charity.
