If you are thinking of taking advantage of the reduction in price for the Elder Scrolls Online game over on the Steam network. Thanks to the Quake Con Summer special currently in progress on Steam offering the online RPG for half its recommended selling price.
You might also be interested to know that a report published by SuperData Research via GamesIndustry International claims that the Elder Scrolls Online game was currently 772,374 subscribers in June of this year.
Bethesda themselves have not released any data regards the number of subscriptions for their online game, due to its parent company ZeniMax Media being privately held.
The report also listed as you might expect, World of Warcraft, dominates the market with 36 percent and earned more than $1bn in 2013 with Lineage in second place earning $253 million and further down the list Star Wars: The Old Republic making $165m in 2013.
New versions of the Elder Scrolls Online game are expected to launch later this year for the next generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, after being delayed six months back in May.
