UK residents waiting for the EE 4G high speed mobile data service to roll out to more locations will be pleased to know that 15 new UK towns have now been added to the list of coverage areas and more UK towns and cities will also be added before the end of 2014.

The latest EE 4G locations to be enabled include Gateshead, Birkenhead, East Grinstead, Leighton Buzzard, Wallasey, South Shields, Wakefield, Coatbridge, Lisburn, Bangor (NI), Newtownards, Omagh, Port Talbot and Neath. Taking the total to 215 large towns and cities as well as 2,588 villages and small towns throughout the UK.

Also UK residents that are located near West Kirby might also be interested to know that EE 4G is providing free donkey rides at West Kirby beach, Merseyside. Pippa Dunn, Chief Marketing Officer at EE explained in todays statement :

“4G is changing the way we behave and there is an increased appetite for sharing those magic moments on-the-go. EE is bringing 4G to more regions across the UK than ever before and with summer just around the corner, we wanted to make the ‘best of British’ even better.

It’s great for everyone to be able to stay connected all the time, even in more remote spots like on the beach.”   The free 4G donkey rides will be available on Saturday 7th June at West Kirby beach, Merseyside, CH48 0QG from 12 noon. Donkey rides will be available on a first come, first served basis for a limited time only.”
