UK mobile carrier EE has expanded the coverage of their 4G LTE network in the UK, and the EE 4G coverage has now been expanded to nine more towns and cities throughout the UK.
This takes the EE 4G coverage up to a total of 37 towns and cities in the UK, and the list now includes Barnsley, Coventry, Preston, Chorley, Newport, Rotheram, Telford, Walsall and Watford.
The company has also said that the EE 4G coverage will include a total of 72 towns and cities throughout the UK by this summer and they will also be expanding their services to suburban and rural areas through the rest of the year.
“We’re committed to making the UK’s first 4G service available to as many people, as quickly as possible. We’re setting the pace for the delivery of 4G in the UK, and it’s a great achievement for our engineering teams to be able to launch in another nine towns this month, enabling more and more consumers and businesses to take advantage of superfast mobile internet.”
You can find out more details of the EE 4G coverage over at EE’s website, and they can expect some competition later this year as a number of other mobile carriers will also be launching 4G LTE in the UK this summer.
