The new Dell Android mini PC application enables users to transform their smartphone or tablet into a wireless keyboard and mouse supported by the mini PC, which is powered by a Dual-core Cortex-A9 ARM System-on-Chip (SoC) supported by 1GB of RAM.

The Dell Cloud Connect Controller companion application is now available to download for free directly from the Google Play Store and connects to the Dell mini PC using Bluetooth 4.0 low energy technology.

Other features included in the latest companion application for the Dell Wyse include the ability to use your Android mobile device to control applications while connected to your HDTV or monitor. Dell explains a little more about the device and its features :

“Designed to promote bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environments, Dell Wyse Cloud Connect allows you to securely access and share work and personal files, presentations, applications and other content from your business or your home.

Managed through Dell Wyse Cloud Client Manager software-as-a-service (SaaS), IT managers can ensure that each Cloud Connect device is used by the appropriate person with the right permissions and access to the appropriate apps and content based on role, department and location.”
