
Blacksmiths or those looking to start in the skill and are searching for a portable blacksmith forge may be interested in a new Kickstarter project launched this week by Reptile Toolworks. The company has created a compact portable blacksmithing Forge that is small enough to fit in a bucket, it is rugged enough to allow you to enjoy the art of blacksmithing almost anywhere. Reptile Toolworks has already raised the required funds it needs to take the portable blacksmithing forward into production, And delivery is expected to start during March 2018. The whole FACTs Blacksmithing Forge kit is capable of fitting in a 5 gallon bucket, leaving enough room for even your hammer and a 1lb propane canister to fuel your forge. The forge is suitable for small work, such as knives, hardware, and tools, although the mini forge will not reach forge weld temperatures, says Reptile. On arrival the forge kit will need assembly, but includes everything you need to start forging once constructed.
