Now Scrabble just got a little classier.
Last year, this wonderful scrabble set was designed by Andrew Capener. The set featured a minimalist wooden board and used different intricate fonts on the tiles.
This idea even had Gizmodo alum Rosa wishing it will be on sale. Well, she and all other fans can be excited now, because this August, it will be.
According to Capener, all the positive feedback from fans urged him to team up with Winning Solutions, a high end licensee. This team will bring Scrabble Typography Edition on sale this August.
The Scrabble set will be available in 2 versions. The Deluxe set that is identical to Capener’s original, valued at $200 and a cheaper set that will still feature the unique fonts on the tiles.
