Activision has today released a new Call of Duty Advanced Warfare trailer for their upcoming game that is currently in development by Sledgehammer Games and team of up to 225 skilled developers, designers and video game creators.
The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare game is the 11th major instalment in the COD series and after the disappointment of the Call of Duty: Ghosts, the studio has pulled out all the stops to create a sequel that will provide “the equivalent of four Hollywood movies”.
Michael Condrey, the cofounder of Sledgehammer, explained in an interview at the company’s headquarters :
“With three years and a new engine and a new generation of hardware and a new brand, you’ll see this is not the same old Call of Duty,”-“We had the people, the resources, and the time. This has the scale and the scope of the equivalent of four Hollywood movies in it. It has hundreds of hours of multiplayer gameplay. It has full cooperative mode. It takes an army of industry vets to create this kind of content.”
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be launching later this year on November 4th 2014 and will be available to play on next generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. As well as older PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 together with PC, but unfortunately there’s is no mention of a Wii U version at the current time.
“With nations brought to their knees by a global terrorist attack, the world turns to Atlas, the largest private military company on the planet. Power, though, changes everything.”
