Blizzard has this week launched a beta version of its new Blizzard Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft card game, which can now be seen in action after the jump.
The new Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft card game was first unveiled back in March of this year at PAX East and takes the form of a free-to-play collectible card game set in the universe of Warcraft.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been created by small team of 15 game developers who were seethe goal to “create a simple, competitive game with a more mobile team than they’ve used for bigger beasts like StarCraft II and Diablo III.”
“Sheathe your sword, draw your deck, and get ready for Hearthstone – the fast paced strategy card game that’s easy to learn and massively fun. Start a free game on Battle.net and play your cards to sling spells, summon creatures, and command the heroes of Warcraft in duels of epic strategy.”
