Camera manufacturer Blackmagic has this week unveiled its new 4K camera in the form of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K which is now available to purchase starting from $1295. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema offers photographers a 4/3 size sensor, 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO up to 25,600. Providing the ability to capture HDR images even in credibly low light conditions.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema is also fitted with a rear facing 5 inch touchscreen makes it easy to frame shots, focus accurately and change camera settings, together with external controls providing quick access to essential functions. Photographs and videos are recorded onto standard SD/UHS-II or CFast 2.0 cards in RAW and ProRes at up to 120 frames per second.
