Blackberry is going through some tough times, but its instant messaging app BBM has received its fair share of success since it launched on Android and iOS. The company also introduced BBM Voice and Channels for the apps, and is also working on an update that will bring more exciting features to the app, such as Stickers, etc.
Recently, the company pushed an update to BBM for Android, and introduced a couple of improvements and bug fixes, including a fix for the sharing of emoticons in status updates.
The app also comes with optimizations to battery life when users are using the BBM Voice call, something which has created problems for regular BBM for Android. In addition, the latest update also brings response time improvements for BBM chat and group scree.
