Barnes & Noble has today announced the launch of their Nook GlowLight eReader in the UK for £89 via retailers such as Argos, ASDA, Blackwells, Foyles, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s and Very.
The Nook GlowLight eReader is priced at around £20 less than its competitors and is capable of holding up to 2,000 books, 80 percent more than Kindle Paperwhite and is also 15 percent lighter than the Kindle Paperwhite says B&N.
The Nook GlowLight is the lightest Nook to date and offers users a soft-touch back, as well as back-lit pages and sharper text for a more immersive reading experience. The new eReader also includes Nook Channels that offers customers a variety of ways to browse more than 3 million titles from the world’s largest digital bookstore.
Customers can sample any Nook Book for free and download new content instantly with NOOK’s built-in wireless Wi-Fi connectivity. Colin Eustace, General Manager, Barnes & Noble S.à.r.l. explains :
