Asus have today announced hat their new Asus Transformer Book Trio will be launching in the UK on November 11th 2013 for £899.99 via Amazon, John Lewis and eBuyer stores.
Asus have designed their new Asus Transformer Book Trio to offer three-in-one flexibility as the name suggests by offering dual processors and dual operating systems to users in the form of Android and Windows 8.1.
The Asus Transformer Book Trio has been designed to switch instantly between Windows 8.1 and Googles Android 4.2 operating system by pressing the dedicated ‘Trio’ key on the systems keyboard. Providing users with the benefit of both a desktop operating system and a mobile operating system when required.
Asus has powered their new Transformer Book Trio with a 4th generation Intel Core i5 4200U processor together with a 11.6-inch 10-point capacitive multi-touch display offering Full HD resolution with IPS technology and 178 degree viewing angles.
“Unlike other dockable ultraportables, Transformer Book Trio’s PC Station isn’t dead weight when the tablet display is detached. With an external display connected via Mini DisplayPort or Micro-HDMI, the PC Station can then be used as a self-contained desktop PC with Windows 8, which means Transformer Book Trio can be used by two people, in two different places, at the same time. “
Other features of the Asus Transformer Book Trio include 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity whilst in the PC station or 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 in the tablet display.
