Asus has today revealed that their new Asus C300 Chromebook will be priced the same as their Asus C200 Chromebook both of which will be available to purchase for $249, even though one is equipped with a 11.6 inch screen and the other with a 13.3 inch screen.
An Asus representative has confirmed that both Asus Chromebooks will be priced the same even though they have different sized screens, as you would expect them to be priced different accordingly.
However both systems do share similar specifications and both sport a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 and are powered by an Intel Bay Trail-M series CPU (2.4 GHz Celeron N2830 with 1 MB of L2 cache supported by 2GB of RAM.
Other features of the Aceh’s Crown books include 16 GB of internal storage together with wireless connectivity provided by support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n as well as Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Asus has equipped the latest Asus C300 Chromebook with a powerful battery that is capable of providing 10 hours of battery life thanks to the inclusion of the low power draining Intel Bay Trail processor.
