Developers, electronics engineers, makers and hobbyists looking for an affordable integrated circuit tester may be interested in this automated Arduino IC tester, created using an Arduino Mega development board and built for roughly $25 by Akshay Baweja. Check out the demonstration video below to see the Smart IC Tester in operation and learn more about this interesting build which will help you make sure all your integrated circuits are working correctly.
The IC testers’ creator Akshay Baweja explains more about the project “I designed a shield for all components to fit-in and chose the Arduino Mega as my microcontroller board since both the ZIF Socket and LCD can be put side by side giving the build a compact and portable look and feel.”
