We heard a rumor last month that Apple’s new iPhone 5 would feature a new docking connector, and now according to a recent report by Reuters, the iPhone 5 will feature a new 19 pin dock connector.
According to the report, the headphone socket on the iPhone 5 will be moved to the bottom of the device next to the new docking connector, on the iPhone 4 and 4S the headphone socket is on top of the device.
We are expecting Apple’s iPhone 5 to feature a new slimmer design, and we heard last week that Apple intends to use their new nano SIM cards in the iPhone 5.
Apple are expected to launch the iPhone 5 some time in either September or October and we heard recently that the device may be announced at a special Apple event next month.
