Apple released their iOS 11 OS just over three weeks ago, since then we have seen two software updates in the form of iOS 11.0.1 and iOS 11.0.2. Last week we heard that iOS 11 adoption had hit 26 percent this has now increased to 38 percent.
According to a recent report by Mixpanel, Apple’s iOS 11 is now on a total of 38.5 percent of Apple devices.
It would appear that adoption of this years iOS 11 is actually slower than the adoption of iOS 10 when it was released in September of last year. Two weeks after iOS 10 was released it was on around 48.16 percent of Apple devices.
Apple’s most recent software updates have addressed some minor bugs in the OS, so this could encourage more people to update their iPhone and iPad to the latest version of iOS. Apple also recently released a new iOS 11.1 beta, this update will bring some new features to Apple’s devices. As yet there are no details on a release date for the iOS 11.1 software update.
