Apple announced the new Apple Watch along with the iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus, the device wont launch until 2015, and Apple has not released very many specifications about the Apple Watch, Apple Said the device would come with a flexible Retina display.
What we do know is that some models of the Apple Watch will come with a sapphire glass display, and now according to a recent report, Apple will be using a flexible AMOLED display in the device.
According to the guys over at OLED-Info, some models of the Apple watch will use a plastic based flexible OLED display, which could be the sport models, and other models will use a glass based flexible OLED panel, this would be the Apple Watch Edition and the other model. LG is reported to be making the displays for the new smartwatch for Apple.
Apple revealed when they announced the device that prices would start at $349, although the Apple Watch Edition, which is said to feature solid gold, could cost much more, and there have been rumors that it may cost as much as $5,000.
We are hoping that Apple will reveal some more details about their new smartwatch at their iPad press event, which is rumored to take place some time next month, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
