Apple and Samsung are engaged in a major lawsuit in the US, the two companies are currently fighting it out in court, and now we get some details on just how much Apple wants from Samsung in damages.
According to a recent report, Apple is seeking a total of $1.98 billion in damages from Samsung on the original Galaxy S smartphone and the Galaxy S II smartphone.
When you take into account all of the devices that Apple are accusing Samsung of infringing their patents, the total figure that Apple wants from Samsung is $2.4 billion.
If Apple does win the case, whether or not they will get this much in damages from Samsung remains to be seen, they could end up getting a lesser amount as the damages will be decided by the court.
