Apple is apparently working on a number of its own TV shows for the Apple TV. The company already has its Carpool Karaoke show on Apple Music but it is also producing a number of original content shows. According to a recent report we can expect to see the first of these new TV shows in March 2019 with more coming in the summer as well.
Apple are apparently working on around 12 original content shows for the Apple TV, these will include dramas, children’s TV shows and more.
Some rumors have suggest that Apple is spending around $1 billion on producing its original content for the Apple TV and its platforms. The company has apparently outbid Netflix for some original shows.
Apple certainly has deep pockets and the company has the financial muscle to outbid many competitors including YouTube, Facebook and also many of the traditional TV studios. Google also has deep pockets, the company is expanding into more original content and is launching its new Cobra Kai TV show on YouTube red shortly.
We are looking forward to seeing what TV shows Apple will be releasing next year. As soon as we get some more details on exactly what the company has planned, we will let you guys know.
