The guys over at Apple Insider are reporting that Apple’s new Apple TV may be delayed until October, as some customer who have paid for faster shipping are reporting that Apple is issuing refunds for thos shipping charges.
This could indicate a possible delay of when the new Apple TV will ship, you can see below what the customers have recieved in the email.
“Our records indicate that when you placed your order you paid for upgraded shipping,due to a delay, we may have not been able to meet our delivery commitment.”
Apple is showing the Apple TV with a shipping date of two to three weeks on their website, although we have just checked our order, which was placed when Apple announced it and it is showing a shipping date of ‘September’, although this has not been update since we placed our order.
Apple has yet to announce anything about a delay, and with only a few days of September left, if the Apple TV is going to be delayed we will probably hear something from them shortly.
