According to a new report from The New York Times, Apple will reportedly launch an Apple Pay rewards programs at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
The rewards program will reportedly give Apple Pay users exciting perks for using the service. The service is currently limited to iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch.
The information about the program is scarce, but the report mentions that customers making purchases using the service will offer perks. The New York Times reports, “People familiar with Apple Pay said that next month, Apple will announce such a program offering perks to consumers who make purchases with the service, though they declined to reveal details.”
Rumors also suggest that Google is also working with a wide range of credit and debit card providers as well as merchants to launch its own Android Pay service at the Google I/O conference. The big event is starting soon and Google is expected to announce details about it.
