Yesterday Apple announced their new iPhone 5S, there has been some confusion over the iPhone 5S release date, as Apple will make the iPhone 5C available fro pre-order on the 13th of September and then available on the 20th of September.
Apple has listed the iPhone 5S on their website, with the message ‘order iPhone 5S from the 20th of September, which lead us to belive this was the pre-order date.
It looks like the iPhone 5S release date will actually be the 20th of September, with the phone being able to order online from the 20th of September and able to purchase in Apple stores from the 20th of September.
It looks like Apple will not out the iPhone 5S up for pre-order this year, which does seem a little strange, and if you want one on launch date you will have to go to an Apple retail store.
The iPhone 5S will retail f0r $199 for the 16GB model on a new two year contract and for $649 without a contract in the US.
In the UK we only have information on the unlocked device at the moment, it will retail for £549 for the 16GB model, £629 for the 32GB model and £709 for the 64GB model.
