Apple iPhone XS and XS Max have reportedly suffered from a couple of problems, there was the charging issue with will be resolved with the release of the iOS 12.1 update.
There is also an issue related to connectivity on the handsets were people have reported issues with both LTE and WiFi.
Now it would appear that Apple is looking into the connectivity problems and have started to reach out to people who have had the issue, Devin Meredith, an owner of Apple’s new iPhone tweeted that Apple has reached out to him.
@reneritchie Apple just reached out to me to see if I could answer some questions about my Xs Max reception issues they’re doing an outreach to some affected users and are asking to install a baseband logger to track my connection to the tower

It is not clear as yet on exactly what the problem is that is causing these connectivity problems, we suspect that when Apple gets to the bottom of it they will be able to fix it with a software update.
