Eleject based in Los Angeles California has created a new multifunctional adapter called the AnyWatt which is capable, of powering your Type-C laptop or device from a simple USB connection.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the AnyWatt which is taken to Kickstarter this week to raise the funds the team require to take their concept into production.
When the 12-inch MacBook was introduced in early 2015, USB-C was merely a curiosity for most people, but now that many new laptops have dropped legacy ports, USB-C has gone from interesting to important. With the update of electronic products iterations, the latest industry reports show that there will be more and more new notebooks, tablet PCs, mobile phones using the latest Type-C charging interface, as type-c input is becoming the most stable and secure way.
AnyWatt is clever, with a beautiful design unlike anything out there now. It is a simple and elegant new way to charge all your things. Just plug your old charger to AnyWatt and you’ll have a neat charging station. Anywatt built-in self-developed LDR6032 smart chip supports the latest USB-PD protocol, meaning it can automatically match the current requirements of the terminal, the 5-20V output of the intelligent output, and the maximum 3A output current. With intelligent charging, it knows what is connected and the optimal charge for each device, so it won’t fry your electronics, no matter what type of device you are powering. It is this technology (powerful smart) which ensures your electronic equipment’s performance and lifespan.
