If you have been a fan one of the 6.5 million players of the Angry Bird games you might be pleased to know that the developer Rovio is currently in discussions to release TV shows, movies, toys and comic books to expand the Angry Bird franchise.
Over the past few weeks the developers have been busy visiting investors and studios discussing various options for the development of the brand, according to Variety.
Rovio Mobile CEO Mikael Hed said he’d rather exploit the original game’s success rather than try to strike gold again. Which doesn’t sound good if you were hoping to see new game development from Rovio.
Rovio has already begun experimenting with telling the “Angry Birds'” story through short cartoons and an animated trailer on Youtube. You can view the newest trailer below, enjoy.
