While Rogers has started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Galaxy S4, while the Galaxy Note 3 is listed as late-March on the carrier’s support site.
It seems its not only Rogers, Bell has announced via company’s official Twitter account that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will get the Android 4.4 KitKat update from Monday.
The news came after a furious fan took it to Twitter, and got a response from Bell that the carrier will begin with the update from Monday. Before you get too excited, you should know that it’s not necessary that you’ll get the update on the first day. The update process is gradual and it may take a little bit of time for every Bell Note 3 in the wild to get the update.
You may want to check for the update manually from Monday, and if you’re lucky enough, you may see the magical notification on your screen. As far as the KitKat update is concerned, it brings a number of improvements and visual tweaks, including white status bar icons, impoved messaging capabilities, Cloud print support, performance and stability improvements, and much more.
