Earlier today Amazon announced its new Kindle Fire HDX tablets, the device will be available in two sizes, one with a 7 inch display and one with an 8.9 inch display.

Specifications and Performance
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX tablets share similar specifications, both devices are powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and feature 2GB of RAM. Users can choose from three storage options: 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB.
