Amazon has announced two new Android tablets which make up the Kindle Fire HD range, there is a 7 inch model and an 8.9 inch model, the 7 in Kindle fire HD features a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, whilst the 8.9 inch model features a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolutions.
The 7 inch Kindle Fire HD features a dual core 1.2GHz TI OMAP4470 processor, whilst the 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD features a dual core 1.5GHz processor.
The 7 inch Kindle Fire HD will be available as a WiFi only version, there is a 16GB model which will retail for $199 and a 32GB model which will retail for $249.
The 8.9 inch model comes with both WiFi only and WiFi and 4G LTE versions, the WiFi only 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD retails for $299 for a 16GB version and $369 for a 32GB version.
